Up and Coming In Cornwall – Rachael Saunders

Here at Wild Tide I love nothing more than finding out about talented people working in Cornwall. This week I have been quizzing the up and coming Falmouth based illustrator Rachael Saunders, about her past, present and future. I hope you enjoy the interview and her fantastic images that are dotted throughout the piece. P.S. Don’t forget links to all of her sites are at the bottom of this piece. Tell us a little bit of history about yourself?…

    Fire Cooking and Fireworks

    Fire Cooking and Fireworks

I love fire. Not in a scary pyromaniac sort of way. Just that basic neanderthal instinct which I think every person has deep down. This poem is by Irene Rutherford McLeod Who lived from 1891…

Actually the original design was created by a company called Koyo Bom. Ray-Ban even managed to steal their logo and make theirs look almost identical, unless under close inspection. Koyo Bom have obviously suffered badly after this massive copyright…

Man’s Best Friend – Hoodies and My New One from Weird Fish

They say that a dog is man’s best friend, I think that ‘they’ are wrong – It’s the hoody. I don’t mean the hoodies that hang around shopping centres and David Cameron is so keen to hug, I’m talking about the warm, winter essential. Everyone has one: their long serving, warm, comfy, reliable hoody. They are there for you through everything, times good and times bad. The post winter’s surf warm-up, the long walks on the beach and for…
