(I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s ever really a good idea to spend a fortune on a new hobby)<\/p>\n<p>So trying to save a pretty penny, I opted for 2nd hand. It is tricky buying a used bike as you end up having quite a limited selection to choose from, after you&#8217;ve chosen preferred prices, brands, etc and worked out what size you need. I used ebay, gumtree and the local paper when looking for a bike.<\/p>\n<p>Anywho after I found a bike that looked suitable, I went over to the sellers house to check it out. I didn&#8217;t know what to look for when inspected a used bike, but after a bit of googling I came across this video, which I think is really useful.
