The Man Cave has been very busy over the last year with modifying my VW T4. One of the easiest and most noticeable changes has been the work i’ve done to the front end. I thought that with the help of some photos i’d take you through what i’ve done.<\/p>\n

This is how the van started off. Exactly the same as when it left the factory ten years ago.<\/p>\n

The first thing I did was get rid of the orange indicators. I used new clear indicators and chrome indicator bulbs, this way you can’t see any orange bulbs through the new clear plastic.<\/p>\n

My overall plan is to make the van all black and red. So I decided to add some tinting film to the lights (its MOT legal).<\/p>\n

I then replaced the standard grill with a badgeless grill, I really think this cleans up the front of the van, making it look more sleek and simple.<\/p>\n

You can use a heat gun trick to blacken the bumpers on T4s but not to the extent I wanted it to be. So I removed the bumped and sprayed in black with rattle can spray.<\/p>\n

When the bumper was put back on i’d hope you agree the finished front looks much more simple and mean.<\/p>\n
