To be honest I hadn’t heard of Mount Edgcumbe before last weekend. I cant imagine why as it’s a fantastic, gorgeous place to visit. Mount Edgcumbe is a stately home and gardens in Cornwall, overlooking Plymouth Sound. Although it’s in Cornwall I actually visited it from North of the border: Plymouth. Aluna (who sings vocals and writes the lyrics) and George (who produces and plays the instruments) both make up AlunaGeorge. At first I didn’t know their names and thought AlunaGeorge was a cool band name, then I found it was just their first names combined and was a little bit disappointed.
