Ale Review – Cornish Mutiny from Wooden Hand Brewery

I met up with a friend today for a catch up. As we were in Falmouth we decided to pop down to The Front. When we arrived I scanned their every changing selection of beers. I plumped for Cornish Mutiny by Truro’s Wooden Hand Brewery as I’ve had a selection of their ales before and they’re always top notch. I had also just walked past a massive billboard advertising their brewery on Killigrew street (so subliminal advertising might have had an effect too!)

Cornish Mutiny is a beautiful chestnut colour, which looked very much like the shades mother nature is starting to display. On the nose it had a warming, comforting smell which was right at home in the confines of The Front. It had rich, slight bitter taste with some malty, biscuity tones.

Wooden Hand’s Cornish Mutiny is available all year round, but I would definitely go out of your way to have it over the coming months, as it’s a perfect drink for this season.

Unfortunatly I didn’t see the clip on display at The Front, but it is mighty cool:
