Sand Sculptures

This week I was lucky enough to go on a little road trip up to Weston Super-Mare to the Sand Sculpture Festival. This years theme was Movies and Cinema. The selection ranged from the spectacular to the very good. I was particularly impressed with the sheer size of King Kong and the awesome work on the face of Ron Weasley. Black and White Postcards from Cornwall

I love looking at really old postcards, I find looking at photographs of how places used to be really interesting, it makes me wonder what the places I love now will look like in 50 or 60 years time. I also really enjoy reading the messages on the back and trying to decipher the beautiful swirly writing lots of people used to have.   St Michaels Mount   Falmouth   St Ives   Padstow   Polperro
