Posh Christmas Shopping In London and Daniel Wellington Watches

Last week my girlfriend and I made a little shopping trip up to the big smoke. We had a great time and saw lots of the sights and sounds of London. The excuse for the whole trip was Christmas shopping but realistically we knew we probably wouldn’t buy anything. However we thought it would at least fast track us into the Christmas spirit.

We decided to take the tube to Knightsbridge (to visit Harrods) then get the tube again to Marble Arch, before walking along Oxford Street. The choice was made to take this epic shopping quest in the early evening, as to make the most of all of the Christmas lights and window displays.

In one of our travels into the many famous department stores I became enamored with this very luxurious watch by Daniel Wellington. The very stylish watch came in this very posh, ivory and brown case, which is impressed with the Daniel Wellington logo. It is a very elegant box which would make this watch a fantastic Christmas present, as it has such a great first impression and would be a joy for anyone to unwrap (they do a ladies version).

Inside the case, the watch is presented on a soft cushion which repeats the ivory colour found on the outside.

Quality is written all over this watch, the silver case surrounds an eggshell white clockface. Hours and minutes are marked minimalistically using fine silver lines and no number, this gives the watch a very classy and sophisticated look. Perfectly round and ever so slim the watch would look impeccable on any wrist.

My favourite part of the Daniel Wellington watch however is the strap. They make several different varieties of the leather and Nato straps, all named after historic British towns and cities. I went for St Andrews because of its slightly more polished brown leather surface gave it an even more stylish look.
