Formed in 1993 in Issaquah, Washington, Modest Mouse are an awesome, American, Indie Rock Band. My favourite album is their most recent, their 2007 album We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. There are a few things I really like about this album. Number one – it’s got a sort of nautical theme, with most of the songs being about the sea in one shape or another. Number two – Johnny Marr of the Smiths played guitar on this album, which pretty much just gives it instant cool.
