Formed in 2005, Nico Vega are an alt rock band from LA in the US of A. Being fronted by the awesome female singer Aja Volkman, they are one of my favourite female fronted rock bands. They’ve also toured with one of my others, Metric and would sit very nicely in a playlist together. Nico Vega have recently released their second studio album Lead To Light, which is good but a bit too poppy for me and nowhere near as good as their awesome as their 2009, self titled, debut album.
