This is for all you Sea Dogs out there, this is crammed full of interesting reads about Fishing, Kayaking, Snorkelling, Spearfishing, SUP, Surfing and anything else on or around the water.

This is a great gift for any surfer or water sports enthusiast. A hooded changing robe is the gift that keeps on giving and everyone needs one in their life! Basically it has two great benefits: Number One It keeps you warm and toasty. In the cold bleak winter the worst thing about surfing is getting changed in and out of your suit. This simple invention makes changing a breeze and lets you get into your warm and snugly…

Lot’s people don’t use phone cases and say things like “It doesn’t matter, it’s insured!” When I purchased my iPhone I looked into phone insurance and when you really start having a good read up about it, it doesn’t look like it’s worth the money. Not when the price of an iPhone handset is in the hundreds! If you’re likely to have a problem with your phone, it’s going to be because you got it wet or dropped it.…

If you’re struggling for Christmas present ideas for your surfing friend or loved one, then here is my first idea for you: A quality surf watch. I’ve been a big fan of Breo watches ever since one of my good friends showed me his. I use a Breo – Roam Elite whilst surfing, as it’s so light and compact that you completely forget you’re even wearing it. The Roam Elite is like a thick rubber band with a tiny…

Lots of people have a long list of things they want to do in their lifetime. This is just a relatively short list of things I want to do in the near future, all in the great outdoors. Catch a Lobster – This has got to be the diamond of underwater foraging. I’d either like to snorkel for one or a bit more realistically, by using a pot. Zipline – I’d love to have a go at one of…

The Garfish is the UK’s fastest fish and one I adore catching. It’s a powerful fighting fish for it’s size and it jumps and kicks like a mini Marlin. Its appearance is totally gnarly, with an uber streamlined body and long beak which is filled with tiny teeth. It has almost a radioactive green colouring to its scales which easily enables you to spot any successful Garfish fisherman. Garfish meat used to be thought to be poisonous, which is…

Going for a second hand surfboard can be a cheap and excellent way of buying a board. I bought my minimal second hand and I haven’t even thought about regretting it.   It can take a long time to find the right board for you though, buy a peach and you’ll be as happy as Larry but get your hands on a turkey and you’ll wish you just went out and brought a spanking new one.   Things to…
